Though I'm totally dedicated to bringing you the entire version of this walkthrough, with inch-by-inch descriptions and pixel-by-pixel examinations, I frankly can't be fucked yet. But first I'll deal with some of the difficult levels that many people would like help for:
The Vault: could be challenging but here is my technique to simplify things. Kill a few weasels (say 2 of them) when they are coming in through the doors. When they are in position and start shooting wait until they reaload and then press B for the matrix thing. (The trick is to listen to their voices).
The Experiment: Just stay where you are, in other words don't move your tank and fire at the experiment. First take out the guns, then the little girl and then send one up the rear passage.
They were quite a number of differences b/w the xbox version and the original. I thought that most of the sections in live & relded were easier than on N64.
Firstly, during the countdown when you run down the beach to the barges, you are able to use the machine gun while on 64 you had to use the bazooka. On N64 I usually just run for it with the Tediz firing their bazookas at me. I found that one Tediz pops up close to the fenceline and kills himself if you stand close to him. Then I just "helicopter-tail-thingy" my way to "peace at last."
However, my friend did tell me that he was able to go around killing the Tediz with the bazooka, one thing I've yet to try.
Enter the Vertex: This boss is pretty hard on the N64 version but on xbox or you have to do is hold down the right trigger (crouch button) and press A to rocket-boost when the alien takes a swing at you with its tail. However on N64, you can't jump whilst holding crouch so it's all about reacting fast to what the alien looks like she's about to do.
I hope this crap proves useful and any other hints will be appreciated. Now remember...
